Why our own factory
We don't outsource the part that matters. Every panel, cabinet and piece of furniture in an Alwan interior is engineered, machined, finished and inspected under one roof, then installed by the people who made it.
One team owns the whole chain, from timber store to final snag. Lead times are ours to keep, quality is ours to sign, and every change is made in the same building it was drawn.

The production line
Seven stages, one roof
Stage 2 / 7
Engineering
Every piece is redrawn as shop drawings and 3D models. Nothing is cut until the architect, the client and our engineers have signed the same sheet.
Stage 3 / 7
CNC Machining
Panels, profiles and joints are cut on CNC machining centres to tolerances of a fraction of a millimetre, repeatable for one villa or a hundred hotel rooms.
Stage 4 / 7
Veneer & Press
Book-matched veneers are laid up by hand and bonded in heated presses, so the grain flows unbroken from one panel to the next.
Stage 5 / 7
Assembly
Our cabinet-makers dry-fit, assemble and hand-finish every joint. Complex pieces are fully pre-assembled in the workshop before they ever reach site.
Stage 6 / 7
Finishing
Stains, oils and lacquers are applied in pressurised, dust-controlled spray booths and matched to approved samples under daylight-balanced light.
Stage 7 / 7
Quality & Dispatch
Each item is inspected against its drawing, protected, labelled by room and loaded in installation order for our own fit-out teams.
